Is this for NOD32 2.7?
Because I heard that it won’t update v3 and ‘Update is not necessary’ message returns while the installed database is one month old!
I think many of us would like a v3 update server for Smart Security 3.0.566 (Business Edition).
So DO NOT USE THIS SERVER FOR NOD32 v3!!! – YOU WON’T GET ANY UPDATES!!!.
I hope that it will be fixed soon!
Agreed, the "Update is not necessary" message appears when trying to update on v3.0. The ESET Threatsense is obviously updating more frequently than this server. Anyone have a suggestion?

I have smart security business addition. I have exactly it is suggested to do; i.e. press f5 and change setting to the upgrading server http://u6.cnnod32.cn. But it still keeps the update to 12/21/07 and says update is not necessary. Do I need to put username and password too. Please tell me what I am doing wrong.
In the 10:42:49 message I missed to indicate the version I have. I have Smart security version is 3.0.621.0 and the Virus signature database is 2740(20071221). As per enet website it should be 2762(20080102)

this server(http://nod32.ecpm.net.cn) is for NOD32 v2 only, it dont function for nod 32 v3 and smart security. Install older version of NOD32 and wait for new servers compatible with NOD32 v3

Yo NoNo… where do u find that update server? I want to use v3 but those servers go down quick so i need a steady supply of servers. Can u provide a site here about where to find update servers like that? Also… for anyone using the cracked ‘trial’ version of v2.7 its seems like i can’t update. (keeps telling me my update is latest but it isn’t) :S Anyway <3 this site.

The update servers are definitely not working. I would say to try to find the cracks on the internet. This site is so discouraging!!! Please fix it since virus definition is now to 2008/01/06 as stated on the eset.eu website. Please make v3 works!!!

Troubleshooter. This site’s servers work for sure bud. Mine updated to the latest one this morning. It could be the time difference. Also there is a crack out for 2.7 however, the trial version atm is messed up on the updates. So this site is saving my ass atm! And i dont think it is i possible for them to make v3 work unless they have v3 themselves. (which doesn’t seem likely) Anyway hope that helped.
